I think we’re all a bit antsy for spring to come around. It’s made all the worse by this weird weather we’ve been having in Montreal (snows all day, melts immediately, rinse and repeat…) A few months ago, I got a new pair of rain boots that I am in love with. I’ve gotten so many compliments on them and I’ve only worn them out 2 or 3 times. People are always so surprised when I tell them they are Crocs! This is not at all sponsored but I gotta say…they have really been impressing me with their more “fashionable” releases in the past couple of years.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve grown to appreciate comfort in my footwear and my fellow fashion-lovers know what I mean when I say, it’s usually comfort or style, not both. And I don’t just mean with sky-high heels. Flats can be equally uncomfortable if there’s no support. Though not long ago, I would have scoffed if you’d told me I’d be amassing quite a collection of Crocs sandals, wedges and boots, but quite surprisingly, they have won me over!

First of all, I love how light-weight these rain boots are. Now, I love my knee-high Hunter boots, but they are so heavy and bulky. In true Crocs fashion, these yellow babies are light as a feather and so comfy to trot around in all day. And I love the colour! They are so bright and cheerful, perfect for those dreary, grey days. But most of all, (and the main reason I keep going back for more) I love the rubber soles. They are so cushiony and comfy. I have a pair of wedges that I walked 12km through Paris in without getting tired or succumbing to sore feet. (I love them so much, I bought a backup pair)

We’ve dipped back down to below zero temperatures lately, but I can’t wait to whip out my new rain boots for those April showers. Bring it on!

xoxo
